This department is dedicated to preparing graduates who possess exceptional graphic artistic talent and outstanding design capabilities. These skills are strengthened through academic study programs that deepen the student's practical abilities and understanding of technological advancements. The program also focuses on technical, artistic, and visual production skills, as well as computer-based design competencies that enable students to create both static and animated graphics using specialized software. Graduates are well-prepared to enter the professional market.

The department offers three main academic programs:

• Graphic Arts and Printing Program

• Book Arts and Multimedia Program

• Animation Arts Program

Additionally, it offers two fee-based programs:

• Graphic Design Program

• Animation and Multimedia Program

The program aims to provide students with comprehensive intellectual, practical, methodological, and philosophical preparation to qualify them as specialists in all forms of animation—experimental, artistic shorts, narrative, and promotional. It enables students to create and direct complete animated works using a variety of mediums, including traditional animation, stop-motion, 2D and 3D computer-generated animation, and motion graphics. Students gain thorough knowledge of all stages of animation production, including character design, storyboarding, scene planning, background creation, sound assembly, animation, compositing, audio and video editing, and final direction.

The program's philosophy is grounded in building a broad foundation of artistic, technical, and graphic knowledge, fostering a rich and diverse visual memory, and providing hands-on training in all relevant techniques, media, and tools essential for professional animators.
